First aid German - literacy for primary school children is aimed at children of primary school age up to 10 years whose mother tongue is not German and who are not yet alphabetized or in a different script and whose language skills (vocabulary) are insufficient to be literate with mainstream school materials.

The exercise book includes a course in block letters with all 26 letters and the 15 sound connections customary in school.
