The Progress 2 – C1 teaching method is the second volume in the three volume Progress series. With Progress 3, the learning of German is completed at a final stage, i.e. at level C2. Progress 2 is aimed at students who have successfully completed level B2. It fully meets the requirements of C1 in accordance with the regulation of the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages and in accordance with the requirements of both the Goethe Institut (Goethe-Zertifikat C1) and the KPG state language certificate (Griechisches Staatszertifikat - Deutsch C1&C2). It consists of a Kursbuch and an Arbeitsbuch and comes with 6 CDs, a glossary and a solution book. The Progress 2consists of 14 sections. Each section examines a thematic area, such as professional life, education, culture, health, environment, etc. The selection and editing of the texts and dialogues was done with the aim of the student becoming familiar with various ways of communication and types of texts, in order to acquire the knowledge and the ability to apply his knowledge appropriately. Grammar is presented and practiced in the Progress C1 Arbeitsbuch .

The Arbeitsbuch presents all the grammar of the C1 level divided into 14 sections. Each unit consists of three parts: Wortschatz, Grammatik, Schriftlicher Audsdruck. In Wortschatz you will find vocabulary exercises based on concepts, words, expressions of the texts of each chapter. In Grammar specific grammatical phenomena are presented in each chapter accompanied by a number of exercises. In Schriftlicher Ausdruck you will find in each chapter a topic to develop. The topic is given as an article in a Greek media. The student is asked to freely interpret and develop a theme around this article.
