The manual contains texts on various topics that cover different aspects of Russian life. Each chapter is independent from the others. This manual is intended for foreign students at an intermediate to advanced level, and for anyone who wants to better understand Russia and the Russian people. The manual's goal is to broaden and deepen students' linguistic and cultural knowledge about Russia. Pre- and post-text exercises help strengthen and reinforce the lexical and grammatical topics in each lesson. The manual is divided into 6 sections, and each one may be studied in order or individually. The manual contains an estimated 60-80 classroom hours of material.
