The integration of people who have recently arrived in a French-speaking environment is a recurring issue and represents a major social issue. Among the factors that contribute to this integration, mastery of the language is essential and this is why language training is set up for these audiences. The author analyzes the context and the challenges of these training courses, then suggests concrete avenues for work to professional and volunteer trainers who work with these audiences.
