The project documentation "Schule mal anders" is a guideline for German courses with parents of non-German origin and is aimed at schools and adult and family education providers.
"School with a difference" aims to enable parents with little knowledge of German to have easier access to school and their children's teachers, to include them in everyday school life and to shape the school across cultures. In four parts, "Schule mal anders" gives tips and background information on the implementation of the parenting courses, presents a suitable teaching concept for this target group with a curriculum for German-learning mothers, illuminates the school as a learning location with reports from all project participants and gives practical suggestions as well as concrete teaching examples for a target group-specific and differentiating teaching.
