The Festival 2 exercise book accompanied by its audio CD allows you to work and strengthen written and oral skills.
This exercise book offers complementary activities corresponding to lesson 0 and to the 24 lessons grouped into 6 units. These activities allow you to work on oral and written comprehension and production, as well as a deepening of the points of civilization seen in the manual.
Each lesson has 4 sections:
Vocabulary : the exercises proposed use the "active" vocabulary corresponding to the lesson used as well as that of the lessons of the unit;
Grammar : the concepts worked on in the lesson are deepened in this section;
Phonetics, rhythm and intonation : this section very often offers phonetic discrimination exercises;
Civilization : an aspect linked to the theme of the lesson is taken up in the form of listening exercises or document analysis.
There are also ten pages at the end of the booklet offering vocabulary exercises grouped thematically. They allow both to reuse the lexicon worked on in different lessons and to enrich it. This notebook can be used in class but the learner can also use it, as well as the audio CD, in self-learning, the correction of all the exercises appearing in a separate booklet as well as the transcription of the recordings.
