TheMétro Saint-Michelmethod offers two types of media that trigger communication:
dialogues"Slices of life";
texts representative of authentic writings.
Above all of a cultural type, it is very exhaustive, and it makes it possible to work on the skills of oral comprehension and production (dialogues or exercises) and writing (questionnaires, press articles, excerpts from tourist guides, electronic messages, advertisements, invites...).It also offers a complete exploration of the areas of learning, focusing on the mastery of grammatical, lexical and phonetic tools.
These make it possible to carry out tasks that are part of an action-oriented perspective, concretizing traditional speech acts.
The part entitled"Documents"highlights different types of writing: documents of practical life, sociological, anthropological supports, fictions, epistolary exchanges, poetic productions which, in each of the units, give rise to tasks related to their purpose.While keeping a dominant gender for these tasks, we made sure to diversify them throughout the method to avoid boredom.
Every three files, an"Assessment"part makes it possible to check knowledge and skills.This assessment covers levels A2 and part B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), with which the DELF tests proposed at the end are also aligned.
