In addition to providing a set of 20 solved previous-year question papers (PYQs), each question is substantiated with a short explanatory note, which is uniquely informative and helpful for readers' retention. While Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) have been systematically provided for all ten units, the Miscellaneous Unit at the end of the book is designed to encourage analytical thinking and exploration. This section serves as an "idea-giver" by prompting readers to reflect on potential questions. It also helps applicants to analyze and generate idea(s) while equipping them to think about how the question-setters think. About The Author
Md. Yasin teaches Chinese at Aligarh Muslim University. He did his B.A., M.A., M.Phil., and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He also completed his postgraduate diploma at Beijing Language and Culture University (2014–15) on a joint scholarship from the Chinese Government and the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Yasin was one of the sponsored candidates for the BRICS Summer School 2017 at Fudan University Shanghai and was a visiting research fellow at Central China Normal University (2018–19), Peking University (2019–20), and Harvard University (2021–22). His recent publications appeared in China Daily, The Quint, the Harvard Yenching Institute (Massachusetts), the Indian Journal of Politics, and the websites of the Nepal Institute for International Cooperation and Engagement (NIICE) and the Institute of Chinese Studies (New Delhi).
