Echo is a 4-level course aimed at older teenagers and adult beginners. From the first lesson, the classroom becomes a social space where students exchange information, experiences, and opinions and create projects. This atmosphere creates a desire to learn vocabulary, and grammar and develop pronunciation. The course is fully aligned with the CEFR and there are many opportunities throughout the units and lessons to evaluate students' progress as they work through the course. The coursebooks and workbooks contain access codes that give students access to an easy-to-use digital version of the book. Furthermore, levels A1 and A2 come with a DVD and levels B1.1, B1.2 and B2 include an audio CD in an MP3 format making this a modern and practical course. The major advantage of this course is still its active approach which puts the emphasis on the student being at the center of the learning process. Independent learning is thus encouraged, especially in the updated exercise book which contains 250 activities for the student to work through.
