The author is first Class M.Sc. In environmental Science and ph. d from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University- Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand (India) and presently working as project manager, in consulting engineering Services (India) limited Manjusha building (5th floor), 57 Nehru place-new Delhi. In total, the author has more than thirteen years research and teaching experience. The work done under various projects funded by mac-arther foundation UNESCO, National medicinal plant Board (nmpb) - New Delhi, international Union for conservation of nature and nature resources (iucn), world Bank projects (swajal and DASS) and Asian development Bank (adb) ect. The author has published seven Paper in an edited book entitled "mountain biodiversity, land use dynamics and traditional ecological knowledge" (Unesco/mab), six reports under various projects and two papers communicated for publication. The author has also taught General Science at "all India services for Pre-Examination training centre" (Aisptc) for schedule castes (SC) and schedule tribes (St) and "Certificate course in environmental Science" In 'IGNOU' Centre at Birla constituent college - Srinagar (Garhwal), Botany, environmental Science, Biotechnology and German in government post graduate college - New tehri, gb. Pant engineering college - Pauri (Garhwal) and Academy of foreign languages (webex-dehradun). the author was course co-coordinator of German language at gb. Pant engineering college - Pauri (Garhwal) and Academy of foreign languages (webex) Dehradun (Uttarakhand) from 2005 to 2007.
