¿Cómo ser profesor/a y querer seguir siéndolo? va dirigido tanto a las personas que quieren encaminarse hacia la enseñanza y que se sienten perdidas porque no saben por dónde empezar, como a los docentes con experiencia y conocimientos que necesitan o desean una reflexión.
Está dividido en cuatro secciones. Los capítulos de cada sección están precedidos por una serie de preguntas para reflexionar sobre el tema antes de emprender la lectura. A lo largo del capítulo hay más preguntas de reflexión y unas tareas para que se vayan realizando a medida que aparecen.
Casi todos los capítulos comienzan con una introducción teórica para pasar luego a una serie de ideas sobre tareas y actividades aplicables en el aula.
