On forms words: prefixes, suffixes, compound words ... We understand the words: antonyms, synonyms, homonyms, We enter the language: shifts in meaning, idiomatic turns, onomatopoeias ... The exercises are various: exercises with holes, exercises of transformations, substitutions; crosswords, searches to carry out in dictionaries, charades ...
To increase the number of words seen and learned by notebook users, we have introduced a section entitled: We discover other words . This section does not fit into the plan of the work and does not attach to prefixes, suffixes ... It gives the student the opportunity to discover terms which belong to a simple and everyday language.
In addition, a new type of exercise is proposed: And now let's talk a little . This exercise aims to encourage students who are too shy or those who do not feel sure of their knowledge, to use the language in its oral form, despite everything.
Thanks to the answers at the end of the booklet, students can assess themselves.
