Με το Combi 1 οι μαθητές εξασκούνται προοδευτικά στην ύλη και τον τρόπο των εξετάσεων του Goethe Institut, Fit in Deutsch 1. Το βιβλίο Combi 1 αποτελείται από 14 ενότητες. Ο βαθμός δυσκολίας αυξάνεται προοδευτικά σε κάθε ενότητα. Έτσι, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από την αρχή της σχολικής χρονιάς παράλληλα με οποιοδήποτε άλλο βιβλίο διδασκαλίας των γερμανικών. Οι τέσσερις τελευταίες ενότητες ακολουθούν τον τύπο και τον βαθμό δυσκολίας των εξετάσεων. The degree of difficulty increases progressively in each section. Thus, it can be used from the beginning of the school year alongside any other German teaching book. The last four sections follow the type and degree of difficulty of the exams.
