Eva Duarte de Perón, popularly known as Evita, is one of the best-known characters in Argentina. Actress, politician, feminist and popular leader, she was born in Los Toldos (Argentina) in 1919 and died after a long illness in Buenos Aires in 1952.
Numerous books and films recount her life and her struggle against injustice and in favor of women and the popular classes. One of these documents is the autobiographical work The reason for my life, which inspires these pages where written textual phrases are reproduced and, above all, deeply felt by Eva Perón.
