JOVEN.ES 4 (B1) is a method of Spanish as a foreign language for adolescents (11-15 years old).
It is made up of 6 modules. Each of these presents two lessons, one aimed at developing listening comprehension and oral production in everyday situations in the personal, academic or professional sphere, and another, based on a literary text, to develop reading comprehension and written production. After completing the two lessons, a grammatical deepening section and the performance of a real-life action are proposed. As an extension and deepening in the culture of Spanish, each module presents two double pages, one with extracts from the Argentina manual, civilization manual and another with the presentation of a Spanish-speaking country, following the itinerary started in level 1.
Joven.es 4 also presents as a complement the class reading of the adapted novel Anaconda by Horacio Quiroga. In the teacher's book, photocopiable sheets of exploitation of the novel are provided.
At the end of the book, three communication projects (each corresponding to two modules) and the grammar recapitulation and verb and tense charts corresponding to level B1 are provided
