On October 29th, 1959, Asterix threw his first glimpse out of a comic panel and in the following years he became one of the most popular comic book characters in the world. This year the little Gaul is celebrating his 50th birthday. In the course of this, its creator Albert Uderzo is working on an anniversary album. Of course, the story is all about the birthday. In an interview, Uderzo announced that the album should be a kind of "golden book", a "homage".
