The manual contains materials that prepare participants for various types of reading (studying, introductory, and searching). The manual consists of four modules, each of which includes both fiction texts and texts telling about the life of modern Russia and other countries. Each text is accompanied by pre-text, post-text, and homework assignments, dictionaries, comments, and illustrations.
