        About The Author

        Professor Do Young Kim, currently serving as the Honorary Director of Korean Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, has been instrumental in shaping the landscape of Korean language education in India. He founded Korean Studies in the country, establishing Bachelor's and Master's programs at Jawaharlal Nehru University since 1995. Furthermore, he spearheaded the introduction of the Korean program at the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi, post-2002. With three books on the Korean Language as part of the Bharati series, two dictionaries, and two Korean grammar books to his credit, Professor Kim has made significant contributions to Korean language pedagogy. Additionally, his work extends to Korean literature, where he has authored a book enriching the understanding of this vibrant literary tradition.
