An evil dog haunts a desolate Devonshire moor and Sir Henry, the last heir to the Baskervilles, begins to believe that he will suffer the tragic fate of his ancestors, victims of a strange curse. The ever-rational Sherlock Holmes does not believe in mysteries and he sends his friend Watson to observe the country and its people to discover silent servants, a fleeing criminal, a butterfly hunter and other amazing characters. The famous detective will eventually have to face an enemy of formidable intelligence.
