Forty-five authentic texts belonging to fourteen different literary genres (autobiography, memoirs, correspondence, poetry, etc.), are presented here, annotated, explained. They are followed by vocabulary and grammatical awareness exercises. Of varying lengths and difficulties, the texts can be studied in French as a foreign language classes at levels B2 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). This book usefully supplements the first two available volumes of the French by the texts and offers here texts of authors with subjects a little more difficult. It is aimed at FLE students with sufficient command of the language to easily approach famous authors such as Molière, Proust or Saint-Exupéry.
