This book aims to help students, who are just beginning their discovery of the Russian language, to be able to use basic words and phrases without exploring grammar in depth. Any grammar that is covered is set out in a very simple manner, making reference to the English language. New words are introduced through dialogue, context and lexical-grammatical structures. This approach allows the learner to independently construct sentences and contribution to conversations and discussions. Suitable for use both in the classroom and independently, an audio CD is also included with the book.
