Pedagogical guide in the collection Tout va bien! , method of French as a foreign language (FLE) for older adolescents and adults, level 1
Everything is fine ! propose :
- communication media and situations that are authentic or close to authentic, allowing the student to become aware of the different registers and to discover certain aspects of Francophone culture as well as the language;
- numerous activities aimed at the acquisition of the four communication skills and the use of specific strategies;
- work on the grammar and vocabulary associated with situations and the service of communication with a large emphasis on observation and reflection A regular invitation to evaluation, work independently and self-evaluation.
The educational guide takes up the organization in 6 units of 2 lessons and offers for each of the headings class advice, the answers to the activities, learning strategies.
The teacher-user will find, to facilitate the preparation of his lessons, the necessary indications to approach the activities and the corrections and/or the proposed answers.
The teacher will find the exploitation of each of the 12 lessons, all the corrections and the transcriptions of the sound documents not appearing in the student's book. The objectives and content of each unit are included and explained there. All headings are covered in each lesson in order to provide the necessary explanations, information and/or corrections.
An itinerary is proposed in each lesson to introduce the Vocabulary, Grammar and Civilization pages according to the triggering Situations and Skills . The Civilization section is particularly developed to simplify the teacher's research and preparation work. Information sites on the Internet are offered for those who want to deepen their research.
The ways of exploiting the activities are neither exhaustive nor mandatory. We make proposals that the teacher can accept, modify or replace. We consider, in fact, that only the teacher is in a position to know how to introduce, develop and enrich activities, depending on the groups and learning contexts.
The documents chosen are sufficiently rich, open and motivating for many other exploitation activities to be possible, depending on the group or many other criteria.
