Portugues XXI is a Portuguese as a Foreign Language Course aimed at a heterogeneous adolescent and adult audience, which aims to learn the language in an active and participatory way. This course is structured in three levels – Initiation (A1), Elementary (A2) and Intermediate (B1) –, providing progressive and functional learning of the different linguistic and communicative skills. The adopted method essentially aims to motivate the student to communicate. Each level is programmed for approximately 120 hours of work, which encompasses both classroom work and homework. Method components: Student Book + Audio CD – consisting of 12 units. Every 3 units there is a Review Unit that allows the consolidation of what was previously acquired. Exercise Book – with the solutions of most of the proposed exercises. Teacher's Book – includes the solutions of the Student's Book exercises.
