Life in Emérita Augusta (current Mérida).
Servio, a slave of the governor of Lusitania (with capital in Mérida), has the function of entertaining his master. Thus he reveals to us the inauguration of the Roman theater in Mérida.
The barbarian invasions.
Fulgencio, bishop of the city, tells us about the destruction of Híspalis (current Seville) by the barbarians. Thus we know the entry of the Visigoths in the peninsula.
